Clear Nursery Fees is operated by Stuart Beasley (sdbtechservices@gmail.com). This site is independent and is not affiliated with the Department for Education or HMRC.

2. What we collect

When you use this site, Posthog analytics may record: page views, button and link clicks, and calculator interactions. No personally identifiable information is collected. Your child's date of birth, exact monetary values, name, and email address are not stored in analytics.

3. Why we collect it (lawful basis)

We collect analytics data on the basis of legitimate interests (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): understanding how parents use the calculator allows us to improve its accuracy and usefulness for everyone. This processing is proportionate because no personal data is collected and you can opt out via the cookie banner.

If you consent to analytics, Posthog may set a first-party cookie and use localStorage for session continuity. No marketing or advertising cookies are used. Your cookie consent preference is stored in localStorage under the key cnf_cookie_consent and is retained until you clear your browser data.

Posthog EU cloud stores data within the European Economic Area. Vercel may process data outside the UK; they are covered by UK adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
